Harston Primary School is situated in an irrigation area in the beautiful North-East Region of Victoria.
The school has a current enrolment of ten students in 2023. At Harston Primary School we offer a unique, individualised schooling that caters and differentiates for students needs and learning in well-resourced surroundings, alongside nurturing staff.
The school currently has an Acting Principal with teachers and support staff. We have also engaged a teacher for the Tutor Learning program giving our students every benefit we can offer to their personal learning. The school has access to the mobile Art (MAAC) and Library program (MARC) on alternate weeks. We have part time specialists to teach Auslan, Creative Arts & Wellbeing lessons once a week. We value physical fitness, sport and wellbeing- always encouraging each other.
The school continues to support and engage families in their child’s education. Our aim is to continue to improve student performances based on the understanding that a safe, secure, and happy environment provides a positive learning environment.
Harston Primary School has worked with the community to develop links, which support families supplying regular information and assistance when needed. The school also interacts with other "like schools" via WEBEX, Zoom, incursions and excursions. We are extremely fortunate to have a daily bus service right to our door.
The school is well resourced, has excellent staff and works extremely hard to cater for the whole family unit and the student’s education. Please feel free to ring Kaz Batson to chat or come and have a tour. Harston is waiting to welcome you to the team.
